Autumn in Connecticut—what could be nicer! I have never seen such a colorful “fall” in all my life- vibrant oranges, reds, yellows over rich sky-blue New England vistas. If you know me—-no matter who I talk too and I talk a plenty- especially on those long distance calls I alway have to mention this once a 4th quarter natural beauty- I love folks getting jealous! hahah . Happy Autumn to you all!!!
Well, there have been plenty of to do’s over the last few week. September left us in a flash and now the Holiday months are upon us. As many of you know I have
been a keeping busy. The first week brought us to the Easter States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Plenty of good ole fried foods, country music and a great time for all.
For some the number one holiday in November is election day- as they say ya never want to discuss religion or politics with the inlaws, we never learn.
Anyhow, I have once again been hobnobbing with the creme de la creme of Connecticut politicians. My good friends US Congressman John Larson was in for a visit and I had a great opportunity to discuss what is taking place in Washington. In fact, John is one handshake away from the President- wow!!! This weekend I was able to catch up with My friend, our neighbor, and one of the hardest working State Representatives I have ever known- David Baram!!
It was great seeing David as he traveled all around Bloomfield today, going home to home, greeting residents, discussing issues and helping all who seek him out!! Yes- a great man, a man of the people and our State Representative!!! Good luck to both John and David on Election Day
And finally—our favorite Holiday for all ages- Halloween! I don’t know about you- but I sure miss “trick or treating” but I never miss the opportunity to hunker down when ever I see an open Plastic Pumpkin Candy Bowl and take my picks of Hersheys, Snickers, and Laffy Taffy—oh yea Baby Ruths—-yum. I had the great opportunity to venture down to Connecticut’s premiere Halloween venue
—“The Haunted GraveYard”, at “Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut. My good friend Ernie Romegialli, creator and manager is at the helm and it’s “the” largest and scariest Halloween attraction here in Connecticut- you will love it—-!! .
Wishing everyone a great Halloween -and upcoming is my next cruise—-more info to come!!
